Led by UK artist Ottolie, this friendly small group setting allows participants to explore portraiture utilising a range of media. Students will spend the first 3 session sketching portraits in charcoal, pencil or pastel and will work on developing techniques to build their artistic abilities including tone, placement, proportions and colour blending before moving on to a final painting to be developed over the last 2 sessions in oil or acrylic (free choice). All materials will be provided. This class is suitable for adults of all abilities though some experience in drawing is advised to get the most out of the session.
